WattFind
Refund policy
When a WattFind purchase is refunded, and what happens to access.
Legal entity details have not been published yet. WattFind staff can add them in Admin → Settings. No company name, address or VAT number is invented here.
Automatic refunds
If a shared or exclusive place is no longer available when payment is confirmed, WattFind refunds the card payment in full and does not unlock the project. The same happens if the project was marked unavailable during checkout, or if the project is historical sample inventory.
Leaving checkout before paying releases the hold. Nothing is charged.
Staff refunds
WattFind staff can refund a paid purchase through Stripe. The purchase is marked refunded and the company loses access to the customer details for that project. Staff cannot mark a purchase paid by editing the database, and cannot type a refund amount by hand. The refund is the Stripe refund of that payment.
What is not a refund
Losing the customer's work later, or deciding the lead is no longer attractive, is not by itself an automatic refund. A provider can report an incorrect or materially different opportunity. WattFind reviews that report.
Stripe's invoice or receipt is the payment document. A WattFind screen that links to it is showing Stripe's document, not a separately invented invoice number.
This is a first draft for legal review. It is not an independent certification of compliance. Questions: see Contact.
